A fellow professional who works at Normas Asesoría Técnica , has written an article that we believe It is of interest to all of us who are involved in the energy certification process. • Enlargement
• Reform
• Change of use
• Existing buildings that are going to be put up for sale or rent

The areas of application are the following:

– Section HE0 of the DB HE of the CTE (Order FOM/1635/2013, of September 10):

• New Construction – Expansion – Buildings permanently open and conditioned

– Section HE1 of DB HE of the CTE (Order FOM/1635/2013, of 10 September):

• New construction – Extension – Reforms – Changes of use

– Efficiency Certification Energy (Royal Decree 235/2013, of 5 April):

• New Construction – Existing buildings that are being are going to be put up for sale or rent – Buildings existing > 250m² of useful area occupied by public authority and frequented by the public

We remind you that from the portal of the Technical Code of the Building, codigotecnico.org the Basic Document is constantly updated (DB) is intended to establish rules and procedures that allow the requirements to be met basic energy saving methods and that we can check your section from HERE.

For the justification of the sections HE0 and HE1 of the new DB HE of the CTE, admits, until further notice, one of the two options following:

• Justification through programs Leader (HE1) and Calener (HE0 and HE1)
• Justification through the new Unified Tool (HE0 and HE1)

However, and given the current conditions of development of the new Unified Tool, it recommends, in most cases, the use in chain of all the tools mentioned in the following command:

Leader → Calener → Tool unified
