Unified tool leader and calener informative note of the CT

A unified leader and calener tool will be created to comply with the new DB-HE of the Technical Code.

From the portal of the Technical Code (Ministry of Industry) have issued an informative note to clarify the application of computer tools for the verification of the requirements established by the Order FOM/1635, of September 10, 2013 (BOE 09/12/2013) , which updates the Basic Document of Energy Saving DB-HE. To fulfill the new demands will create a tool that unifies the leading and calener program .

5.- The new DB-HE of the year 2013 introduces a series of changes to the requirements of the 2006 document and in particular, for new buildings and extensions of existing buildings, new demands relating to the consumption of primary or renewable energy and explicit requirements in energy demand , indicators that are also contemplated in the regulations for energy certification of buildings.

7.- Even though the new DB-HE does not establish the obligation to use an official tool for the verification of demand requirements and energy consumption, from this General Directorate it has been considered convenient make a new tool available to designers free computer science that allows the verification of those requirements of the DB-HE that require the evaluation of the demand energy and the energy consumption of the buildings.

8.- This has meant the unification on a single platform of the general programs officers employed to date for the evaluation of the energy demand and energy consumption (LIDER-CALENER), as well as the adaptation of the tool to the changes introduced by the new DB-HB. 10.- In view of the exposed, and to facilitate the professionals to adapt to the new tool, and in the exclusively for the verification of the DB-HE, it has been deemed appropriate to enable a maximum period of coexistence of nine months for the use of tools official IT LIDER and CALENER that is extends from March 13, 2014 and will expire after expiration of this period or before if the completion of the process modification of the regulatory scope of certification energy allows it . ANNEX

1.- For residential buildings private:

• The climate zone of the building is defined in the Appendix B of Section HE1 of the year DB-HE 2013 and not the one that, if applicable, is assigned by the program. 2.- For buildings for use other than residential:

Lider unified tool Calener:

The computer application makes it possible to verify the requirements 2.2.1 of section HE0, 2.2.1.1 and point 2 of the section 2.2.2.1 of section HE1 of the Basic Document of Energy Saving DB-HE. The requirement established for Newly built buildings for use other than residential private in section 2.2.2 of section HE0 must be verified, as established by the DB-HE, according to the basic procedure for energy certification of buildings.
